The first Squirrels in the Group and in Gloucester being invested – 2023

This year the Squirrels have celebrated their first birthday with a special cake, they have also been on their first joint sleepover with our Beavers where they played games, learned how to make a shelter, watched a movie and made chocolate chip cakes. They also joined the rest of the Group roller skating.

In 2023 they have enjoyed lots of activities. In May they visited the Group’s camp for the day and joined in with the other sections activities which included string trails, zip lining, paddle boats, peddle Karts, soft archery. In July they had a joint trip with the Beavers to Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust, where they went to Welly Land, did some pond dipping, fed some ducks and other birds. The recently had a visit from a Police Officer and Police Cadets along with another special guest.

Below you can see a diagram of the position of badges and awards for Squirrels. You can find out about the Squirrels badges on the national Scout website.
