SLEEPOVER/ONE NIGHT CAMP KIT LIST & TIPS

 

Please let the your child help you pack, so that they know where everything is.† Also please make sure that everything is named, including their kneckerchiefs and uniform tops.

 

Please do not send any sweets or extra food or drink.

 

Please donít let them bring radioís, games consoles, mobile phones, etc.

 

KIT:

                Wear uniform (please make sure it is named)

                Pyjamas/onesie (please make sure it is named)

                Underwear, socks x 3 pairs† (please make sure they are named)

                2 pairs of trousers/tracksuit bottoms (old not new) (please make sure they are named)

                2 t-shirts (please make sure it is named)

                Sweatshirt/jumper (please donít class this as their uniform sweatshirt) (please make sure it is named)

                Waterproof trousers and coat (please make sure they are named)

                Wellingtons or walking boots (please make sure they are named)

                Woolly hat and gloves (please make sure they are named)

                Cap (please make sure it is named)

                A pair of old shoes or trainers

                A pair of indoor shoes/slippers (not needed when camping outside)

                Wash Kit - toothbrush, toothpaste, flannel, soap, hairbrush/comb (hair bands for girls) (please make sure it is named)

                Towel (please make sure it is named)

                Sleeping Bag (zipped up) please make sure it is named.† Pillow if they wish.

                Blanket

                Camping mat/self inflating mat (please make sure it is named)

                Pillow

                Torch (please make sure it is named)

                If you wear glasses please bring case to store glasses in at night

                Bag for dirty clothing

                Teddy can come free of charge

 

All activities will be run in accordance with the Scout Association Safety Rules.† No responsibility for personal equipment, clothing and effects can be accepted by the Leaders and the Scout Association does not provide automatic insurance cover in respect of such items.
